What's in the box
Our Retrofit Kit for the DJI Mavic 3 facilitates docking, charging, and programmatically powering the drone on/off.
The Kit is compatible with various Mavic 3 series, including classic, pro, cine, and enterprise. The Kit integrates the Skycharge Sink PLC for reverse current protection, automatic charging upon landing (depending on configuration), and PLC-based control of power on/off functionality, necessitating use alongside a Skycharge docking system.
Preserve drone warranty
The Kit's installation does not alter the drone, preserving its warranty. Simply affix the Retrofit Kit onto the drone in under a minute to begin remote control via your preferred mission planner.
Kit remote control
To power the drone on/off, some commands must be transmitted through the Skycharge SDK. Alternatively, utilize a mission planner with integrated Skycharge SDK support (e.g. Unleash Live), or request a mission planner partner for implementation.

1. Fix the Retrofit Kit to the drone body
Open the top cover, place the drone inside the Retrofit Kit, and lock the top cover with the screw as shown in Figures 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3.

2. Connect the USB-C cable
Connect the USC-C cable to the drone input USB-C socket and fix the protective cap as shown in Figure 2.4 and 2.5.

ATTENTION
When attaching the protective cap to the Retrofit Kit body, ensure that the USB-C cable does not obstruct or press against the servo mechanism. Incorrect installation may lead to component malfunction or unpredictable operational outcomes.
5. Verify the correct installation
