ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The electrical connection of the Skyport DP5 drone hangar to the grid is the responsibility of the customer.

Before commissioning the Skyport DP5, we recommend the installation of:

• An automatic disconnecting device at the start of the power line to facilitate maintenance operations.
• A differential protection sized for your system for alternating current and/or pulsing with continuous components and continuous fault current.
• A surge protector. The customer must determine the degree of lightning risk and any self-protection in accordance with the standards in force at the place of use or, if necessary, provide a suitable system for protection against the effects of lightning.
• Also provide adequate protection against short circuits according to the characteristics of the power supply line.
• Provide a connection socket with adequate protection against rain.

INSTALLATION

Check that the dimensions of the areas involved in handling are adequate for transporting the system and that there is no risk of tipping over.

Prepare a concrete support base with minimum dimensions 650 x 575 mm.

Verify that the area where the Skyport DP5 is located has the minimum clearances to allow safe opening of the hangar covers. In particular, it is recommended that no fixed object is present in the safety area shown in Figure 2 below.
